Never Goona Give Your Teen Spirit Up

In “totally kick-ass music videos that didn’t exist until now” news, a fan made music video tribute to Nirvana and Rick Astley has been formed. And man, it’s pretty dang amazing to listen to.

On how the video was made, YouTuber thriftshopxl says:

DJ Morgoth is an excellent mashup creator and DJ based in Germany. He runs an awesome night called Mashup Your Bootz.

I usually don’t post such things, or even reblog them, but… Yes.

It is profoundly disturbing how much I enjoyed this.

I know, I know. You’re at a complete loss for words after watching this video. You are sitting in front of your computer in utter shock with your mouth open wider than the Grand Canyon. You’ve been completely blown away by the magnitude of this video. You may have even shit yourself out of sheer amazement. Go ahead, check. Your mummy will still love you even if you’ve soiled yourself (although I’ll think less of you and refer to you as Poopy McPooperstein for the rest of your life).

Are those words describing this video still stuck somewhere between the temporal and frontal lobes of your brain? Well I’ll help you out then. Was this video ingenious, awe-inspiring, or akin to a religious experience? I fucking think so.

On this note, I leave you for a few weeks. I’ll be out of the country with limited internet access through mid August, so don’t expect regular postings from me. Ladies and Gentleman, in my absence live life how Rick Astley and Kurt Cobain would expect you to.
